- Choose the company you'd like to edit from the Select a company dropdown (or use the company selector at the top right of the page).
- Click on the Competencies tab.
- Select Competency frameworks.
Competency frameworks
Existing frameworks can be edited, duplicated, or deleted on this page by selecting Edit from the action menu then Edit settings, Duplicate, or Delete as appropriate.
Adding and Editing frameworks
A new Competency framework can be added with the Add new competency framework button. The admin can also explore the Moodle Competency framework repository via the Competency framework repository button.
The Add new competency framework page has a number of fields:
- Name
- This is the name of the framework.
- Description
- This is a description of the framework.
- ID Number
- This is the unique ID of the framework.
- Scale
- This is the type of scale used by the framework.
- Visibility
- This is whether the framework is visible.
- Category
- This is whether the framework is system-specific or company-specific.
Taxonomies refer to the names given to different levels of competencies within the framework.
Scales
There are two types of scales: The Default competence scale and the Separate and Connected ways of knowing.
In both cases, the steps in the scale have to be marked as being Default and/or Proficient. The first means ?? and the second refers to ??.
