Approving training events
Any user with appropriate permissions can access the Approve training events page. When learners request access to a training event, the page will display them in a list with a pair of radio/option buttons labelled accept or decline.
When the Submit button at the bottom of the page is clicked, the selected radio/option buttons will be enacted, and the learners request to attend a training event will be accepted or declined.
Note
Some training events require sign-off by both department managers and company managers. In this case, when a department manager approves the event the company manager will be notified. If the company manager declines the request it is passed back to the department manager again. If a company manager approves the event then the user is granted access.
