Learning paths

The Learning paths page deals with the creation of learning paths for users. It can be accessed through the IOMAD dashboard:

1. Go to the IOMAD dashboard.
2. Choose the company whose learning path(s) you'd like to edit from the Select a company dropdown (or use the company selector at the top right of the page).
3. Click on the Courses tab.
4. Select Learning paths.

Learning paths only require a unique name and a description.

Actions

Learning paths can be created by click the green + Add new path button at the bottom of the page. Once a Learning path is created, it will appear in the list of Learning paths on the same page.

Each Learning path has six actions associated with it: Make (un)available, Edit course list, Edit path, Assign students, Duplicate path, and Delete path. Most of these are self-explanatory. Note that the Edit path refers to editing the name, description, etc. of the path. Editing the list of courses associated with a path is discussed in greater detail below, in the Editing Course lists section.

Editing Course lists

In the Manage learning courses for ⸻ page, courses listed on the right can be conveniently dragged-and-dropped into groups on the left. This will add these courses to the learning path as part of this group.

More groups can be added and each group of courses needs to be completed in order. Groups can have Sequential set to Yes or No. Groups which have Sequential set to Yes require that courses within that group are completed in order.
