Completion report by course

The completion report by course provides a summary of completion status for all courses in a company, and serves as a landing page for all other completion reports.

  1. Go to the IOMAD dashboard.
  2. Choose the company you'd like to edit from the Select a company dropdown (or use the company selector at the top right of the page).
  3. Select the Reports tab.
  4. Click on Completion report by course.

Using the completion report by course

For each course assigned to the current company, the report lists the number of users who:

  • have completed the course
  • are in progress

If you're using licenses, you'll also see:

  • how many users have not yet started the course
  • the number of active licenses
  • the number of inactive licenses

The Course summary button will show the course completion details for each user enrolled in a given course, which includes the fields:

First name / Last name
User full name.
Department
User department (defaults to the top-level company department if departments aren't in use).
Email address
User email.
Status
This is either "Not started", or shown as a percentage of course completion.
License identifier
The name of the license in use, if the course is licensed.
License allocated
The date that the license was assigned to the user.
Date started
When the user began the course. If using an instant access license, this will be the same date as the license was allocated.
Date completed
Date the user finished the course.
Valid until
Date that the training is due to expire, if a training valid length has been set in Manage IOMAD course settings.
Grade
User's final grade for the course.
Certificate
A link to download the user's certificate as a PDF, if using the IOMAD certificate plugin.

Filters

The report can be filtered by:

  • course name - using the search bar at the top of the page.
  • department - using the department "tree" selector.
  • date - tick the box to enable the date fields, then supply a valid date range.

Exporting completion information

The report can be downloaded using the dropdown options at the top of the page. The following formats are available:

  • comma-separated values (.csv)
  • Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx)
  • HTML table (.html)
  • Javascript Object Notation (.json)
  • OpenDocument spreadsheet (.ods)
  • Portable Document Format (.pdf)
