Teaching locations
The Teaching locations page allows a company admin or manager to create teaching locations for the IOMAD Training event activity. The page can be found by following:
- Go to the IOMAD dashboard.
- Click on the Courses tab.
- Select Teaching locations.
The page displays the Name, Room capacity, Address, whether Location sharing is enabled, and actions that may be taken (namely a cog icon for the Edit action, and a bin icon for the Delete action).
Adding/Editing a teaching location
To add a teaching location, click the Add a teaching location button near the top right of the page.
In virtual rooms, only the Room name/number field must be filled. In in-person rooms, a number of other fields must also be filled:
- Room name/number
- The unique name or number of the room that is used for identifying the room.
None of the following is ever mandatory:
- Description
- A description of the room.
- Make this location public?
- Whether this location is shared with other companies on the site.
- Virtual?
- Whether or not the room is virtual.
The following fields appear and are mandatory only if Virtual? is unchecked:
- Address
- The room's address.
- City/town
- The town that the room's located in.
- Postcode
- The postcode of the room's location.
- Select a country
- The country that the room is located in.
- Room capacity
- The capacity of the room.
